Having
worked his way from camper to director, Austin Manning
is back again to enjoy his time at Slumber Falls Camp.
Currently studying Dramatic Media, a fusion of film and
theater, at Texas Lutheran University, Austin brings his
passion and knowledge to direct M.A.D. camp. In his
"spare time", who knows what that is, he likes to
travel, write scripts, play sand volleyball, and enjoy
tubing the comal!
Join us at M.A.D. camp this year and get behind the
controls of professional grade video equipment, create
original soundtracks, or try out your abilities in front
of the camera! A fast-paced, fun-packed week, M.A.D.
camp's goal this year is to produce a short video by
weeks' end. Using software such as Celtx and FinalCut
Pro, the camp will write, film, direct, score, and edit
a video that will showcase the talent and hard work of
participants! Of course the classic Slumber Falls
experience will be mixed in, so no need to worry on that
front and the only pre-requisite is a desire to create
and explore all that Slumber Falls has to offer!
