Dwayne Aaron
Wuneburger has been a part of the Slumber Falls
program for nearly 3 decades. Serving as a counselor
in the early 80’s he has watched campers grow in
faith and leadership. Today these same campers
return as adults and walk the same pebble paths with
their own children. For Dwayne nothing could be more
personally rewarding than seeing the tradition
continue. Slumber Falls is about leadership and
teaching the children the importance of caring for
God’s Creation. Camp is FUN!
Dwayne is a 3rd
generation carpenter and the owner of Dwayne Designs
a residential remodeling company in Katy, Texas.
Dwayne also volunteers with local programs that
promote team work and encourage kids to do their
best, like Destination Imagination and various youth
team sports programs. Dwayne’s hobbies include rock
collecting, gardening and making/building something
(always).
Dwayne is
blessed with a beautiful wife who is the Vice
President of Sheltering Arms Senior Services in
Houston; a son who attends Sam Houston State
University and majors in Kinesiology, and a daughter
who attends Katy Junior High and plans to be an
environmental engineer or a SFC Director when she
grows up.
