Health History
Please know that we take
the health of your camper very seriously here at Slumber
Falls Camp. In case of the need for medical attention,
our medical staff is under the supervision of Bonnie
Stark, L.V.N. Bonnie has 25 years of experience in
nursing including pediatrics and school nursing. For 11
years she has been associated with Slumber Falls Camp.
Should the need for a doctor arise, we
have contracted with Dr. Randall Jacks and his
Associates at the Hill Country Medical Center as our
physicians on call to provide the complete medical
attention that your camper may require.
In the case of emergency, we are less
than 5 minutes from New Braunfels Emergency Services and
only 4 miles from Christus Santa Rosa Hospital.
To insure that we have the latest medical
history and your instructions for the care of your
camper, please complete the Health History form and mail
it to the camp office at least two weeks prior to the
beginning of your camp. The form can be downloaded as a
pdf file.

Notes on bringing medicine to camp:
All medicine, including both prescription
and "over-the-counter," must be checked in at
registration with the camp medical staff. All
prescriptions must be in the original container from the
pharmacy with the campers name and dispensing
instructions.
Inhalers must have prescription labels or
be in the box with the prescription label.
