Nature Camp
SFC is excited to offer a new camp with an emphasis on outdoor adventure and nature. Nature Camp provides campers with the opportunity to participate in orienteering, fishing, knot tying, canoeing, and other outdoor skills while enjoying all the usual SFC activities such as swimming, archery, Gaga ball, hiking, and much more! Campers will learn about native plants and animals, trail building, and Leave No Trace principles to practice at home. Come experience the wonder of God’s creation at this new camp for 7th to 9th graders.
Camp begins at 3pm on Sunday afternoon and concludes TBD by the director on Thursday afternoon.
Meet Your Director: Fischer Marlow
Fischer Marlow is a long time SFC camper and CIT. He is excited to step into a Camp Director role with Nature Camp. Fischer created this camp to spark a love of adventure and deep respect for God’s creation in the hearts of future nature enthusiasts. He will be a freshman at Texas State in the fall majoring in Outdoor Recreation. He is an Eagle Scout and trained at Philmont Scout Ranch on the principles of outdoor conservation and Leave No Trace.
